Roman Josi tying goal game 5 – should the Canucks have challenged? – Tough Call Review

Roman Josi tied game 5 against the Vancouver Canucks, but did Gud Nyquist interfere with the goaltender to propel the puck into the net? Should the Canucks have challenged? Here’s my review.

  1. I think the coach should've challenged. The pred players skate hits the goalie, pushing him. Super hard call, I wish he would've challenged it though, just so we know for sure

  2. Yeah this dude is wrong lol, Nyquist literally digs the stick under Silovs and literally pushes him with it and his skate that he intentionally went as deep in the blue as he could. These guys have been slimey to our goalies, they never have good intentions when it comes to running into them.

  3. Watch again, but pay attention to Blueger 53 rather than Nyquist. I think Blueger kicks Silovs' blocker, while Silovs is trying to roll onto his back to cover, the two of them propel the puck. It was already in motion before Nyquist made contact. As a Canucks fan, sadly, this goal is ugly but not interference.
