Quality over quantity. Canes just throw it at the net and hope for puck luck. Not a great playoff strategy. It works regular season but guys step up in the playoffs.

Rod Brind'Amour is a one-trick pony as a coach. Taking 50 shots from the outside isn't going to work against a top goalie, in fact, it will just give them confidence

Shesterkin is unstoppable
It’s not quantity of shots it’s quality of shots. The Rangers have pretty consistently been outshot by their opponents this year but they are patient and wait for a quality shot.

As a Rangers fan, the Canes are so good and although 3-0 is as much as you could ask for at this point, the series isn't over and im still nervous about the Canes

The Canes don't have a Goalie like Igor Shesterkin
Vinny Throckek is the straw that stirs the drink. Couple years ago when he was with the Canes he was always chirping and playing hard. Now as a Ranger he’s doing the same. The chemistry between him, Panarin, and Laf is amazing. Laf has become confident and is excelling at playing his game. And then there’s the rest of the team. You can get scoring from any of the line on any given night. Power play is lethal. It used to be the predictable one time by Zib or tip by Kreids. Now Throchek is there to clean up those rebounds.
Rangers, just a better team, skating, hiting, scoring. And did I say a world class goaltender. Canes can spin it all they want but what counts is how well the Rangers are winning these games. Get the golf clubs ready Canes.
You can feel the confidence from the Rangers. They look relaxed and fluid.
Rangers fan here: Hurricanes were my biggest concern of every team in the playoffs, and I guess I am one of the few that assumed that this series is going to seven.
But the biggest difference in the team this year vs the last ten seasons or so is they are finding that last burst of energy crossing the finish line. Rangers teams from 2010-2020 would've lost ten to fifteen regular season games this team dug deep and found a way to win. I have been nothing but pleasantly surprised this whole season (save for Black January) and it has continued into through the playoffs.
I think the Rangers depth is what is the difference along with Shesty. With Chytil back they can throw 4 lines at you and their top 6 is arguably the best in the league right now.

Rangers fan here. The team has learned from its bad playoff loss last season. Now, we get ahead and stay ahead. Or we hang around – even when outplayed – before we snatch it at the last minute. That is what teams used to do to us. Now we're imposing our will.
Most impressive? Vincent trocheck. Again. He didn’t have the OT winner last night but he made the okay and the pass to get the puck to Panarin and had the game winning asssist. Vinny Trocheck has been ridiculously incredible for the rangers.
Longtime diehard Ranger fan here and im cautiously optimistic because the canes are still a really good team
