If I could give one message to the players, it would be Coach Jimmy V's famous words, "Don't give up, Don't ever give up!" Great job tonight boys and keep that fire for Monday at MSG.
In hockey for me "you" would (or will) always have to get rid of the defenders and to be well for the goalie unless you execute something else.
I'm really 38 years old I know why teams from this era can sometimes loose just like that.
When I was young I saw a Montreal Canadiens game in person (them on the ice) (I don't really like to watch hockey,I only like to play,but this could change I mean if it would be different) and I saw that they was making lot lot lot of passes instead of attacking,maybe that's cause they was trying to create a play and maybe that's cause it's very hard for them,well the best way to see the difference between hockey cheatings(s) and hockey without it's while playing.
It's not the same thing that current players make.
They make lot of passes cause they don't really know what to do.
The base of hockey is to go to the net and score or to shoot in the net,then the base of it become to dribble (thwart) or to get through all the players to score.
Well you can either have more backyard playing more relaxed and to try something else but there are things that doesn't change.
