  1. They need to up the pace, faster break outs, better passes, win puck battles, finish checks hard, shoot a ton. Greasy rebound goals. Let's go boys. Don't go out like punks

  2. Interesting to point out that head of officiating Colin Campbell's son, former bruin Greg Campbell, is the assistant GM of the panthers. Meanwhile the Panthers are getting half the amount of penalties they normally get and the bruins are getting double.

  3. Colin Campbell should have been fired years ago for accusing Mark Savard of being a faker while he got wheeled off the ice on a stretcher afre being elbowed by Pittsburgh forward and never played another game again. FIRED!!!!!!!

  4. Game 1 ? I saw speed. Florida is not Toronto or Colorado, Vancouver, Edmonton fast. The way you beat Florida? Fast ▶️ play.

  5. How can the Bruins bounce back in this series? Hmm…

    1. Start making plays in their own end versus their "trying not to lose" strategy Monty has employed where the Bruins defenders just keep chipping it off the boards. Make some f.n. plays in your own end. Stop just giving the puck right back to Florida

    2. Execute better zone entries and fight more for inside ice. Most of the Bruins shots are one and done types from non danger areas of the ice or from the blue line when they do have the puck in the offensive zone

    3. Get out of the F.N. 1-2-2 forecheck immediately!!! The Bruins are not challenging Florida's defenders thus the Panthers have consistently broke the puck out of their own end (with possession) time and time again. Start sending in two forecheckers at least some of the time. Their forwards are too wide on their forecheck so they never pressure Florida with the puck in their defensive end. EVER!!!

    4. Inject more speed into the lineup. I'm sorry but Forbort and Maroon should come out of the lineup. The biggest issue with Forbort is one of Florida's greatest assets is their fast, heavy forecheck that forces defenders to make quick, good puck decisions and outlet passes. Two things Forbort is GOD AWFUL at

Maroon isn't giving them anything either. The fourth line battle is being won by Florida by a HUGE margin. Bring back Boqvist and go with a Lauko Beecher Boqvist 4th line

4A. Forbort specifically. Forbort is their worst defender in terms of puck retrieval and making good, quick puck decisions. Florida's forecheck is too much for him. Shattenkirk is crap at puck retrieval and he's slow as "F" too.

Thus Peeke's partner should be a player that's not slow, that can make a first pass out of their own end and someone that can make at least decent, quick puck decisions. That'd boil down to either Wotherspoon or Grzelyck. Griz is too soft physically for this series so reinserting Wotherspoon alongside Peeke on their third pair should be the call

    5. Move Geekie back to 3rd line center and have him try centering Frederic and Brazeau and try having that fraud Pavel Zacha actually play the position he signed that big contract to play, so CENTER!!! Zacha has played 22 career playoff games. The results? #PUTRID. ZERO Goals / 42% at the faceoff dot.

The reason Zacha isn't playing center (and he barely played their last year Bruins homers) is that Pavel Zacha is a soft player that cannot consistently win puck battles on the board or below the goal line.

That is why the Bruins won't play him at center but that's b.s. because if Zacha would just put in more effort he could easily be an effective 2C. There are reasons Zacha was run out of NJ by both fans and the team. His lack of effort and his disappearing acts that go one for weeks and months led that list of reasons.

    6. The Bruins best players need to be much better. Zacha, Coyle, McAvoy, what in the F.N. hell? Wake the F.N. up. Pasta needs to be better two but he's a targeted guy (will be even more so so with Marchand out) and the Bruins have Top 6 center wunderkind Morgan Geekie centering him. That's not Pasta's fault. It's also not his fault Pavel Zacha can't play center because he's too soft and weak to do so

    7. The Bruins overachieved this regular season. They were kings of the OT, loser point and won in the regulars season primarily with elite goal tending and excellent, team-wide system execution. However, their fraudulent regular season nature always comes back to haunt them in the playoffs.

    Proof?

7 of these past 8 years the Bruins have failed to win more than 1 playoff round despite many 100+ poing regular seasons. Back to back 1st round chokes the previous two post seasons. They're very likely going to go 8 of 9 years with either failing to either win a single round or failing to win more than one playoff round

They don't have a real 1C. Zacha plays wing Bruins homers. Coyle is a good 3C and a below average 2C. I don't know how far any realistic Bruins fan thought this team could go without a legit 1C or a legit 2C. They couldn't win playoff rounds with Bergeron and Krejci for christ's sake!!! You think they're winning many rounds with Coyle as their 1C and Pavel Zacha playing wing :)?

    8. Jim Montgomery made terrible decisions last post season. He's made next to ZERO adjustments this post season alongside some poor lineup decisions as well. Yes, the players need to play much better to win this series but Montgomery isn't helping the Bruins cause one bit

It's hard to believe that the Bruins will beat the Panthers in this series. I think it'd be smart to settle for the Bruins just not embarrassing themselves versus Florida at this point and then just be happy that hey had a surprisingly good regular season while going as far as they could this post season

Then pray Don Sweeney actually does something with the Cap Space he has coming this summer besides doing what he did the last time he had a decent amount of cap space, which was signing Foligno, Forbort and re-sign Matt Grzelyck.

Well at least the Bruins have good draft capital? Nope. The Bruins have had and will continue to have the NHL"s worst draft capital at least for another season

The Bruins don't have a 1st round pick again until 2025. They don't have a 2nd round pick again until 2026. They will not possess their own 1st, 2nd and 3rd round draft picks again until friggin 2026.

Well at least their Farm System is good right? Um nope.

All that pissed away draft capital on playoff chokes has led to a crap prospect pool. Well that and not the best drafting and developing but the lack of draft capital is really the root cause of the issue.

The Bruins have been ranked 30th -32nd and dead last in the NHL in terms of prospect pools for three years running and they've never been ranked higher than 27th in any year of Don Sweeney's tenure as GM going back to 2015

After this loss to Florida they should finally just clean house. Neely, Sweeney and Monty should all go.

Shake up the executive offices, coaching and scouting staffs too.

This Bruins era officially ended when Bergeron retired

Let this chapter just die and let the next great Bruins chapter begin with a new management/coaching regime and a new core of exciting, young players leading the way.

The Bruins are long overdue for their next chapter. Long overdue….

  6. Why the hell should Barkov fight a little punk at the puck drop?? Focus on Bennett, that’s perfect. The Panthers will focus on WINNING!! Perfect strategy!

  7. Hey Conor, don’t dis living in Florida. Everyone that grows up in the NE retires in Florida, and when you move here, remember to support the local team.

  8. It is coaching problem. I have say it ower a year – even before the play off last year. They focused to much on the regular session- and didn’t prepare for play off. That’s a rookie coaching mistake
