The NHL playoffs are BACK in Vancouver and in a big way! After what was a truly remarkable turnaround year for the Canucks and after 9 years of pent up energy, their fans absolutely brought it for game 1 in what was a heck of a hockey game. This one had it all, the physicality you’d expect in the playoffs from 2 of the highest hitting teams in the NHL, huge saves from Demko and Saros on both ends and a 3rd period blitz of goals from Suter and Joshua that broke a Canucks franchise Playoff record. It was an awesome game. I've saying to people that Garland will be our "secret weapon" in the playoffs, but I'm thinking, now, that it will be Garland and Joshua. I've been a 'Nucks fan since I was introduced to hockey as a tiny lad back in the very early 80's. I'm so psyched this year. Go Canucks Go!
That Joshua goal in the 3rd was confounding. I was on break at work watching the game. After the 2-2 tying goal I looked down at my phone to message a friend. I remember thinking, “Wow. They are still showing replays of the goal? Seems a bit excessive.” That’s how fast they scored those 2 goals. Sending a text message made me think that Joshua’s goal was just a replay on the broadcast! 🤣🤣🤣
Hopefully they dont throw anyone off a bridge this time hahahahaha

Why was there lack of white towels for the Vancouver game but the Winning game had more towels?! They even wore the white jerseys! Vancouver fans needs to step up their fan support game. Vancouver invented the towel power!

Canucks shouldnhave challenged that Preds goal. Guy skates through the crease and pokes Demko's glove just as the shot goes by on his glove side. Toronto should have reviewed it either way and called goalie interference. Total BS goal.
