Glad Vancouver pulled that out for you. I know how dumb it feels when you're upset about your team having a bad day when you're having a bad day, but it would be nice for something to go right. And some days it just doesn't. My team is golfing right now so I don't even have that to look forward to.

I said to someone on Facebook after the non call on McDavid for his slash to Hughes's face. It wasn't by accident, he was looking right at him. The refs didn't miss it, the puck and the play were right there.
For whatever reason the officials wouldn't even discuss it. I said "do you think any Canuck player will get away with it when they do it to Conny Mcdavy? No way. You're not allowed to hurt the golden boy.

You have it wrong, Zadorov put Kane into the bench and was trying to get free but the Oilers were holding him there, which is why they were assessed the bench minor. There's zero reason Zadorov would stay there when Kane was already out of the play.

As of this point, Zadorov was fined and Soucy is getting a hearing. I think a suspension would be overblown.

I have to agree with you, I don't think the refs have it out for any particular team. They are awfully consistent with…..their inconsistency. But there are certain refs vs certain teams that have a track record of…..well, not so greatness. Sutherland shouldn't ref the Canucks, or Toronto for that matter. But for you to have to actively complain, instead of just report on the calls in an analytical way, is kind of terrible to want. I watch you for the break downs and the insight, not for editorial reasons. 🙂 Keep up the good work, and we'll fight it out with the others in the comments, where that belongs!
If the league wants to deal with interactions after the game is over then deal with ALL of them. McDavid 2hand stick swing was no better than cross checks

Vancouver is stepping up the physical play and need to not let the Oilers just wind up and come in waves. Need to keep that forecheck, hits and offensive zone time. Keep hard on the four Oiler players that can play and pressure on weak goalies.
