QOTD: Which NHL prospect do YOU think fits Montreal's future the best y'all? I'd LOVE to hear YOUR thoughts!!!

  2. I think tij ignilia would be such a wise pick. I think his potential is no where near being discovered yet.

  3. Reminder: Buium is pronounced like you're watching the Avs score a goal against your Stars while eating something delicious. Boo Yum.

  4. For me. I want Demidov, Iginla and Konsta Helenius. Maybe Lidstrom.

Lidstrom is maybe because of the Injury but if he can perform post injury then it’s a good pick.

Demidov is a great choice as well he can be a great winger. Hope is available by 5 but Hughes is maybe skeptical since he missed out on Mitchkov in 2023.

Konsta is a great pick as well since he is Finnish and plays centre. He can be a great addition and the finish league is a great league to let him grow.

Finally Iginla well he is a centremen and his dad is a legend no explanation needed.

I just don’t want another defencemen again.

  5. If im Montreal. I'm not actually taking Lindstrom. I know hes a great fit. Wants to play here. Has a great frame and offensive celling. But so did Kirby Dach with Chicago. Who's play is definitely 3rd overall pick worthy but was slow to develop and has a lot of injuries. I think Iginla is too low offensively. Right now. We have no one who has hit 35+ goals on the roster. Celebrini isn't gonna be there. But goal scorers are still there. Like Eiserman. Sure he dosent play like Lindstrom but at the NHL level could develop physically with a 6'2 frame. And goalscoring. I think he's a second liner who gets a lot of PP goals. I think he will be like Zack Hyman. Maybe not like Hyman THIS year but in the past. Catton also brings that elite offense. I think Catton is great pick as well and could be a future top 15 offensive forward. My favorite: Ivan Demidov. He's a goal scorer. I think he will be like a Kaprizov and his game will translate. I see him as a 40+ goal 100+ point guy in the future. If he isn't top 3. I think at all costs we should try to trade up to Columbus at 4

  6. If they have a choice between Demidov and Lindstrom, I'm sure they'll take Demidov. They want that electrifying talent up front.

  7. Additional reminder: You mentioned a bull in a china shop. Mythbusters proved that if you put bulls in a china shop, even with rickety shelves they won't cause damage.

  8. I've tried to make my mock draft and there is no way they get Lindstrom or Demidov. They won't be available at 5th overall. The only outcome possible is they draft Berkly Catton. Habs are so small FML !

  9. Whilst ghere ks always a chance yje habs draft a D Kent has made it clear he wants a forward. When they pick at 5 unless there is a Major gap between the d man available comaofed to offence he will go for offence. I have a feeling he will move the late 1st round pick as well

  10. All depends who's left at 5. If Lindstrom is there you take him. If they don't trade their later pick. I would be happy if they drafted Basha. Lindstroms linemate the last 2 years.

  11. 1. Celebrini
    2. Demidov
    3. Lindstrom
    4. Silayev

I could see something along those lines. Columbus is probably eyeing Silayev big time.

  12. YOU need to read this, so first, you guys need to trust me ! I am Kent Hughes Hairdresser, I know what I'm talking about !

We all know Plan A is Demidov, Plan B is Lindstrom but do you know about plan C? This is where Kent will show to everybody that he is the true Pokémon Master ! Forget about the Pitlick or the Xhekaj, watch him get all the Coles !

First he will trade the 5 overall pick to Calgary for the 9 and 29 over all pick !

With the pick number 9 he will draft: COLE Eiserman

With the 27 he will draft COLE Beaudoin

And, for the hat trick, he will pick at number 29 Cole Hutson !

Just like that we got the size in Beaudoin, the Goal in Eiserman, the shiftiness in Hutson and all the Coles !

  13. Lindstrom is a great fit, and if somehow Demidov was still there at 5th…but If Lindstrom and Demidov are gone by the 5th selection, they would have to take either Levshunov or Silayev. I think Iginla or Sennecke are both players that will turn out to be better than their ranking, but you have to go with a higher ranked prospect when you are selecting 5th.

  14. Helenius isn’t getting past 6. Super smart center that produce in big minutes in the Finnish league…he will be coveted.

  15. 5th ovr is a bad spot for montreal. I see them moving up to 4th or down to draft Iginla / Catton. Unfortunatly, it isn’t the NFL where there are 100000 pick swaps, so we’ll stay in that bad spot.

  16. Honestly, i really want the habs to draft eiserman, but not at 5th. If he falls outside the top 10, it would be worth trading our wpg pick with a D to get inside that top 15 range. It would be a steal at that range

  17. In a realistic fashion
    1: Iginla
    2: Lindstrom
    3: Eiserman
    4:Catton
    5: Sennecke

I want a winger !! We are center stacked !!
