I know it’s tough but we gotta believe.

Can’t believe these guys are making us feel like we’re cooked when we’re up 3-2 but that 3rd period yesterday was tough. But this team has proven they are resilient this year. Now we just have to believe in these guys cause frankly we don’t have another choice. LFGR

What’s tough? Winning the cup is supposed to be hard, not a walk in the park. Every team that makes the playoffs is good. They got this. 1 win away from Conference finals. This team knows how to win games, they know how to rebound, they have Igor. They got this.

Game 4, 3-3 tie in 3rd period, inexplicable penalty by Lindgren, canes first pp goal of series with 5 min left. Shesty lets in more than 3. Lose.

Game 5. 1-0 up in 3rd period. 3 goals in 10 minute. 2 shots in over 20 minutes. Lose.

Win 1 period and we wouldn’t be in this situation. Things I’ll never understand.

Well if nothing else, the past 60ish hours have made my blood boil again at this stupid fucking playoff format. Because we should be the ones playing an ill-equipped Boston team and enjoying the spoils of being the #1 seed. Instead our “reward” was the 2nd best team in the Eastern Conference in Round 2

Personally, any time I begin deeply investing emotional energy into this team they let me down, so no thanks. I’ll remain pessimistic until there’s a cup.

I’m no fair weather fan. I’ve been in since 1986 and I’ll be here regardless of the results. I fucking love this team, win or lose.

We have two chances to win one game. No reason not to believe. This team is still great, we get an extra rest day, and Igor is still our goalie. Take a deep breath, regroup, and beat the piss out of them

I won’t be worried until we’re in a game 7 and losing going into a 3rd period. These guys can turn up at any moment, we’ve seen it all season.

The way I see it…we played our worst playoff game so far. Lavs pretty much said it in his postgame presser.

It can’t be much worse. I have full faith in Lavs and the coaching staff to get it figured out for Thursday. Though if we come out flat to start Game 6, I’ll be concerned. We need to 1 out of the next 2 games people…we’re so close.

Also, give me #72 on the 3rd line for Thurs.

You guys need to get back in the game. Don’t lose your spirit. It’s all right

We are going to see what they are made of. Adversity before potentially seeing Florida or one of the teams in the west should be a silver lining here.

I’m salty and angry now but that’s mostly because they failed to raise themselves up at home in the third yesterday. It was disheartening, but they can go to NC and take care of business.

Game 5 was trash. But every team has awful games…the best ones bounce back.

  12. They can definitely win. Whether they decide to is what is in question. Pound for pound, and if the Rangers play at their best, they are the better team I believe. Have to play for their lives though. It’s the only way to beat a team playing for theirs.

im not fkin leavin! it pained me to watch so many fans leave the garden yesterday. I remember going to a game a couple of year ago where we tied it up with 1 second remaining and then won it in OT. Anything could happen.

I’m glad we are going through this now when we can adjust. We will be fine. And if not. It wasn’t meant to be our time. But a reverse sweep is difficult to do, and it’s only happened 4 times in the NHLs history.
