Excuse me but who was the MC's GM the last time they made the Finals? Most of the MC's prospects are Bergie's players. What has Hughes done that makes him a better GM than Bergie?

Well, he's better than Toronto, he brought he Habs, to the Stanley cup final at least, but i want Colombus to hire him after the draft, because he might screw the Habs.
I believe he also tried to trade up to get PLD when he was drafted

Love Bergy. He left the Habs with cap problems but got us to a Stanley cup playoffs and didn't want to let his guys down after the run. Before he left, he left us with Roy, Harris, Struble, Guhle, Xhekaj, Caufield, had the ballzzzz to draft Mailloux, Romanov, Tuch, Kapanen, the Kulak trade and I'm certainly forgetting a lot. Aside from Sergachev I think he won all of his trades
