  1. I literally don't see bob get nudged at all, even in slow mo, a tiny bit of contact on his skate. Boston nudged his stick, but it was reset and then knocked out of his hands by his own teammate. This was clearly not interference. Now Geekie pummeling into Bob the other night. Thats GI.

  2. Do not assign malice to that which can simply be explained by sheer incompetence.
Pretty safe to say the refs aren't trying to screw over your team specifically, but rather that they just are not doing a good enough job.
Complaining about your team not winning because of officiating solves nothing, but pointing poor officiating consistently enough with team biases removed can hopefully steer the conversation to a place where we can see some actual change.
I, like many others, roll my eyes when seeing fans blame their teams loss on officiating alone. That does not invalidate the discussions that must be had in instances like this.
This garbage needs to end, or at very least, these officials need to be held accountable.

  3. When the refs are all gamblers, you get officiating like we get with all the major sports. They wanted gambling mainstream; this is one of the repercussions.

  4. At 1:36 you can clearly see that Heinen's stick (well into the blue) is pushing Bobrovsky's skate back, not allowing him to get set properly. At 1:38, the puck goes past Bobrovsky. That's pretty close proximity in time. It's a judgment call, but I agree with the officials that the goal shouldn't count.

  5. Montgomery is a disgrace. Whining about any call that wasnt going his way is one thing, but that diving pantomime is something that I've seen players get ejected for. I think he should be getting fined. It's the exact same thing as talking trash about the officials.

  6. I mean the NHL basically said that Sam Bennett's crosscheck wasn't enough. So Heinen's brush of the pads isn't enough but we all know the NHL lack any consistency.

  7. last game was called no goalie interference because coyle was in the way of Sweymen whether bennet pushed him or not (and anyone saying bennet stopped coyle from playing the puck is an idiot, coyle isnt the goalie you cant call goalie interefernce on a defensemen lmao) … on this play however it shouldve been no goal because bobrovsky's skate was dorectly pushed backwards knocking him off balance. not sure why no one is comorehending these things, its pretty simple, the difference, whether one looks more egregious or not to the eye, looking at it objectively based on the rule it isnt that hard to comprehend. but everyone seems to really atruggle with it

  8. B’s fans definitely can’t bitch about the refs anymore. I’m more mad about the missed 5 on 3 than I am the goalie interference make up call.

  9. This series has showed that referees should be more accountable for their mistakes. The gm meetings should put all their focus on giving referees interviews after games if there has been a missed call or missed penalty and if officials can’t call a game properly they should get more training to earn their spot back in the NHL. This is a joke

  10. Lol, that was not goali interference, the Bruins player didnt even touch the Panthers goalie, and the Panthers player literally knocked the goalies stick out of his hands. Not the Bruins player.

  11. I used to think that about officiating until the 2019 playoffs. Never seen the NHL apologize for a call before. Never saw the refs completely fail to call any penalties on another team (STL in game 5). This FLA-BOS series is intense, but it hasn't reached that level yet.

  12. No doubt the officiating has been questionable in the NHL playoffs, but it isn’t anywhere as bad as the officiating in the NBA playoffs.

This is also why the NHL playoffs has been so much better than the NBA playoffs in the last 3 years.

  13. As a bruins fan, I didn’t have bruins winning this series in the beginning. That being said the refs are fucking horrible. That was goalie interference but game 4 wasn’t? Are you kidding me?
