  1. Do you agree with Tocchet? That there are 5-7 Canucks 'Passengers' on the team right now?

  2. Take away Petey’s gaming console and tell him you’ll give him an hour of video gaming time for each goal he scores. That’ll get him going!

  3. I’m liking the mind games the coaches are playing now…. Knobs won’t name a game 5 starter and now Tocchet is saying Demko’s injury has “improved immensely” over the last 72 hours, like whatever injury Demko is dealing with is like Mark Stone’s spleen. It knows it’s crunch time and it’s just going to evaporate.

I’m an oilers fan but for any Vancouver fans out there, if Demko is cleared to play game 5, do you want him or Silovs in net? Demko is awesome but is coming off two injuries that forced him to miss a significant amount of games, and Silovs hasn’t really given you a reason to want to take him out of the net.

  4. Bruce, get Pettersson's balls out your mouth. There is nothing that will flip the switch. He's a streaky, mercurial 2C that plays a finesse game. What do you think he's going to do? Start bodying guys to create time and space? Get separation with his explosive skating? Charge into corners and win puck battles through sheer power, strength, and will? Magically start thinking and executing the game at a much higher rate? He is what he is. Shifty when skating hard, elusive when opponents play the puck, with a world class shot when he has his entire fucking wheelhouse uncrowded. Now apply that play style to any garden variety playoff game. He's not going to just figure it out one day, some how. He's not going to magically gain size and strength. It's been six years. Figure it the fuck out. Just imagine if we had year six Linden.
