Florida trailed 1-0 in the first on a goal from Morgan Geekie before Sam Reinhart tied it in the second. Charlie McAvoy scored the game-winner in the second, surviving a goalie interference challenge.

Sergei Bobrovsky made 26 saves for Florida; Jeremy Swayman made 28 for the Bruins.
