Teams should approach the Marner trade as if they are helping Tor rid a horrible contract. Dont enter into talks as if Tor is in the drivers seat.

I thought there was an "exceptional status" rule where you can get in the AHL early for cases like this. He's too good for the OHL but not physically mature enough for the NHL(it could be dangerous for him). I wonder if they could rent him out overseas for a year…
