The New York Islanders just signed five players that should be destined for the AHL. Let’s grade these signings on how they could impact the Islanders AHL squad.
Thanks again for the reports. Why do you think Goyshev and Bellows have yet to be signed? Do you think it's because they might make the big club? I like the Andreoff signing to look after the kids down in B'port. I have high hopes for Timashov, but maybe am wrong. I love Bardreau and would be okay with him coming up if the Isles were to lose one of the fourth liners. I'd take him over Komarov because of his skating.
Dufour with his 5th goal tonight. He wasn't even ranked in their top 10 prospects by The Hockey News. THN had Bolduc at 7th. Not sure how closely they follow the Isles. They had Lennox, Holmstrom and Koivula all ahead of Bolduc. They also had the Isles finishing 17th last year for a prediction. I love it when the Isles are underestimated. I'm hoping Chara/Greene split the season as the 6th LD and Salo or Aho (maybe Bolduc, but I doubt to start the year) can take LD2 Maybe Gustafsson, but I'm not sure about him.

Adams, Bardeau, Dufour, Otto, Ruslan…these guys are better than the Islanders…
