I went to game 6. we just gave up as a team, as we had done all playoffs, cant blame just one it was everything. coaching, players, just sad and we likely wont even make the playoffs next year

The Canes have a fast transition style game and they dont have that Tier A goalie to bail them out when that system leads to odd man the other way. The Rangers have Igor. Thats the 1 piece Canes were missing. Andersen is good but not great.
Goal tending was the difference
The Canes should have made that "Guentzel" trade two to three years ago. They allowed the Rangers to pass em, then played catch-up with a big deadline trade. Should have gone after it a few years back.
What a clown. Rangers were the better team. Give them credit. Enjoy another disappointing offseason at the hands of the Rangers.

Good teams donāt lose three games in a row. The rangers are clearly the better team they proved that third period.
last third of the season…they alternated goalies…..had save % of well over .900….and won most games. Then we ride Freddie in the playoffs? Why? He's not that guy. Never has been. Never will be.
For,some reason,a lot of people feel,you can get by with good goaltending,FOOLS,you aināt winning a Stanley Cup,with out excellent goaltending,and I mean the times hen your goaltender makes critical saves,you donāt win with out it,itās not how many saves,itās those big saves at important time in the game,that can turn the tide!!!

The reality is you did lose to the number one team this year. The canes did play to their potential they just lost to the better team. This series really should've been a sweep game 4 was the Lindgren gift š.

I would never listen to this except that it's on my feed now but that's why these things are 7 games. It gives the time for the better team to rise to the top. Canes got outplayed when it counted, special teams were all NYR and one of the biggest factors…IGOR
