there’s no shot skinner starts tomorrow. i will take my neighbour’s shoe and eat it if he does

  2. kneejerk_nuck

If Petey can’t score 1 or 2 on him then the slump isn’t over.

It’s kind of expected. They already have one broken goalie, if they get knocked out without going back to him he’ll never be a starter

    My mom’s wish came true…..

During game 5, she was chanting (at home, at the tv); WE WANT SKINNER! WE WANT SKINNER!!

There’s no way. There’s no way. There’s no way in hell Edmonton could possibly be stupid enough to go with Skinner.

… I mean, ***I sure hope they do!*** But Pickard was their best player last game, and Skinner is a sieve.

There’s no way they start with Skinner unless Pickard is injured or fatigued.

Must be an injury? Or just some slight deception. Other than that I dont see a good reason

I think it’s a fake out. Not willing to eat a shoe or anything like poster above, but my completely uninformed gut feeling is Pickard.

Elliot Friedman has not been watching this series.

Would be a big fuck u to pickard. He’s been their best player since taking over

If Konblauch starts Skinner, that would be a slap in the face not only to Pickard but to the entire team. Skinner currently does not give Edmonton the best chance to win. Pickard has done everything asked of him in these two games and has given them a chance to win.

Please do. Pickard is all the oilers need, just someone to stop the puck from time to time and has been way more consistent. If they go skinner, they’re losing, and it would be sweet

Doesn’t matter who they start. Canucks in 6. LFG.

  13. A few people (media) have said that Skinner was hurt… This should be interesting.

  14. Honestly, kind of get it. Either he loses (please please please please please), and you have some stuff to work on for next season, or he gets you a big win and maybe that snowballs into something even bigger.

I don’t see a scenario where you keep riding a journeyman backup who has been okay at the expense of torching your young starter’s confidence
