  1. Berube can thank Binnington for his Stanley Cup. We’ll see how this works out for Toronto. I believe Keefe is a better coach.

  2. We would have won back to back Cups in St Louis if not for Covid. We fired Berube not because he is a bad coach . Everyone From the owner to General Manager & most of the players still Love him. Our Stanley Cup window just closed. He cannot take young players & develop a cup team. But he will let you know where the problems lie. You have enough talent in Toronto but it will take a few changes that Berube wants. Get ready to play heavy & Forecheck but most importantly you have to Backcheck. No skating around waiting for the Puck, You have to take it. Good luck Toronto. Berube will Never Ever be forgotten here in St Louis. Cant wait until you come to town. It will be one of longest Standing Ovations ever Heard.

  3. This is the non story of the off-season. Who really cares who comes to Coach the Toronto Maple Leafs. No one.

  4. Leafs FINALLY have a MAN as head coach. Leafs are gonna be MEAN and LEAN next season. I hate the Leafs for the record.

  5. Berube is a good coach but doesn't like prima-donna's or media attention, I'm not sure it's a good fit.

  6. Oh, to be a fly on the wall the first time the Leafs go into the room after doing something stupid and Chief walks in and strips the paint off the walls. Good luck, Chief! You'll always be a legend in the Lou.

  7. THG leaves HQ coaches fired or hired and Steve Dangle drops pod before news, a tale old as youtube time.

  8. Hamilton Coyotes what could've been years ago. Hamilton Bulldogs for NHL entry in this lifetime.

  9. First you gotta make the playoffs, then you have to win against 15 other really good teams. Leafs fans think that if they just make the right moves, they will win. The reality is that it's a crap shoot, more luck than skill.

  10. Shannon I heard you mentioned some WNBA games in Hamilton. Do you think you might get their jersey when Toronto gets the team in 2026?

  11. I think Berube is a good option, but he alone isn't going to be enough to get them to the promised land. Gonna have to do something crazy

  12. dear hockey guy, i watch you every day and appreciate the content. however, things happening when youre away is meaningless. youre here all the time and things happen all the time. you taking a break and things still happening is normal. i will still watch your take on things even if the news happened 100 years ago.

  13. Berube only had 1 really good run as head coach. Last half of 2018-19 season and postseason, and that's about it.

  14. Hintz probably has a broken foot. I actually have no idea what his injury is. I just assume it's a matter of time teams start misleading media as to what injuries players have

  15. Berube: hired to be fired and the source of everyone's ire in less than 3 years…because everyone in Toronto is eventually hated and blamed for everything that ails a perennial loser of a hockey team. Start the clock…now.
Hell…he might not even last 3 years if they fire Shanny first.

  16. I watched the Bulldogs when they were the Canadiens AHL affiliate (saw Price play). I'm not sure what the renovations are supposed to do but they couldn't fill the upper bowl. It was always a family friendly place to watch a game and affordable.

  17. As a Blues fan, I love Berube! Wish him all the best in that madhouse. I can honestly say I hope he helps them get the cup.
