Fans who don’t watch in tough periods don’t deserve to watch in our incoming dynasty

  3. I watch games when they’re good and I watch the game recaps when they’re bad. Is that moderated approach accepted, my lords? Lol

  4. I don’t blame anyone who doesn’t want to watch the building while it’s going up in flames. I’ll happily welcome them back when they return for the good days. But they better not chime in about things like Slaf being a disappointment when they don’t even watch him play. Or call Marty a bad coach because they looked in the newspaper and saw the Habs missed the playoffs again. Those people can fuck right off.

I can’t watch the games because apparently I live in the fucking leafs territory, all the fucking way out in fucking BC! Hockey broadcasting in this country fucking sucks.

We may have finished fifth from last but it was exciting hockey.

  7. Been a habs fan all my life. Watch every game I can even when they “suck”. You still need to remember that the players on the team, even the 4th liners, are among the 1000 best players on the entire planet. Watching the young guys progress gives me a parental sense of pride when they succeed. As long as they do their best, I’m happy.

It’s easy for the casuals to think that we didn’t improve since we finished 5th last two years in a row… but context matters. There are a lot of bright spots within this hell, but I’m really enjoying this ride lol.

I try to watch every game but have to be up early in the morning so I don’t finish watching all of them.

The current sucking is way more bearable than previous periods of misery, like 1998-2001 or 2017-2020, because I really have the feeling that I’m watching the beginning of something incredible. Seeing guys like Suzuki, Caufield, Slafkovsky or Guhle become solid NHL players at least has the advantage of giving us hope. The 2017-18 season was also excruciating, and what did we have to show for it? Victor Mete showing promise and the drafting of Jesperi Kotkaniemi?
