Probably THE hardest worker on the ice every single time he’s out there regardless of who else is out there, gotta love that spirit and tenacity. Will be missed and really would’ve loved to see this guy get a cup :/

2014 I was in Arizona for a vacation, the Wild were playing the Yotes and me and Parise had an elevator ride together at the hotel. I was an awkward 15 year old who didn’t want to start a conversation but he could tell I was headed to the game. Doors opened and he fist bumped me and said enjoy the game buddy

Almost got the US gold medal back in the day with a great goal with less than a minute. Left to tie the game and send it into overtime. Been a fan ever since!
