How was that not a penalty at the 56 second mark against the blues in the 3rd it was a pure INTERFERENCE hook call.

This game will go down as one of the best in Blues history. This video doesn't even begin to show how dominate the Blues were, especially in the 2nd & 3rd periods. Bishop was just…..ridiculous. To have to work that hard & then realize, jeez, we're only halfway to where we need to get to………LET'S GO BLUES!!!!
I hate all the phonies from St Louis & not just there saying Great Series it always is when you win say it when you don't. It's so phoney St Louis won the series & later the Cup they deserve all the credit that fan base just drives me crazy. I'm into winning nothing else Dallas didn't get it done no medals or points for trying.

This game was a real moment of pride for St. Louis hockey.
1. The St. Louis team dominated the game!
2. In spite of Blues domination it was held close. Taken to double overtime. Why? Because the Stars goalie put on a performance for the ages – Ben Bishop from St. Louis (Chaminade high school).
3. The Blues victory came at last when Ben Bishop was finally beat by St. Louis native Pat Maroon (Oakville High).
I know many Canadian fans would yawn at such an occurrence, but it was a special moment for a St. Louis fan.

Stars fan here Bishop had a great Game 7 & I'm a fan of his, but I have to call it as I see it. Bishop cost his team a game in Dallas cause the Stars tied Game 3 multiple times & he couldn't hold the game for 5 minutes & St Louis took the lead again. Bishop is a solid goalie but he shares as much blame in Dallas getting beat by a better team as the rest of the Stars do. This idea of feeling sorry for Bishop makes me sick & I like the guy but he cost them Game 3 & nobody talks about it cause he was so good in Game 7.

I have a theory on this game. Even though the Stars were outshot 31-4 in 2nd and 3rd period I think Binnington was the better goalie. Two reasons. First, if you notice, the Blues actually didn’t have a lot of great chances as Stars kept a lot to the outside. Second, Binnington made the more impressive saves because the Stars actually had better scoring opportunities. Look at some of the replays. Also, the highlights dont show it but the Stars did start pouring it on in OT and Binnington had to be real sharp when he faced only 4 shots in 40 minutes. Binnington made the bigger saves in my opinion.

Bishop was an absolute Wall. My God, he was keeping his team alive.
Not even a stars or blues fan, but coming back here with the news of Bishop's retirement. While he lost, this was about the best I've ever seen a goalie play.
Highlights don't tell the whole story. The most dominating Blues playoff performance I've seen as a lifelong fan, and were it not for the lucky bounce off the ref Dallas wouldn't have been able to get into the game.
Ben Bishop was an animal. A lot of respect.
This game took at least 5 years off my life. The stress this game gave me…man. Too me about 3 hours to decompress after the Blues won.
