well Matt you’ve been here before you were on the other end last year how good does it feel to be on this side this year oh it feels unreal I mean how special of a group we had um you know how special of a run we had I think that Series against Saskatoon took a lot out of us with six overtime games could have gone either way but kept fighting the whole way and um no group I’d rather do it with yeah how you you’ve come into a group that’s been together for a long time how special was it to get you know acclimated right away into that group and and feel like you part of it right away yeah that was huge I think you know if you want to be go deep in the playoffs and have success you need to to have that camaraderie in your locker room and that Brotherhood to to play for each other every night and that’s I think that’s what we had right from the GetGo I think from right from when I got here they took me in and and it was uh you know so much fun coming to the rank every day um just thought when when you didn’t win it last year and you knew you’re so close of a dad then come here you can how how much have weight of your shoulders little off to have won this down and done and got the job done that way too yeah I mean it’s awesome um you know you don’t get too many chances to win I mean once you get past you know minor hockey and and you know u15s I think you’re you’re you’re in tough I mean it’s it’s it’s tough you you it’s tough to go to the finals it’s tough to have success in the playoffs it’s tough to win games and um you know I think our group didn’t take anything for granted I think we stayed in the moment the whole time and um and it paid off you’re not done yet you got more hockey to play here you get a couple games off the rest and how cool is that you be playing hockey in not je yeah it’s awesome I think that’s what everyone wants to be playing hockey as long as they can meaningful hockey competing for championships and um you know our group’s on done we’re going to go try and win it all in uh in Sagen off what was that moment like on the bench as the clock tick down and what was the moment like lifting the cup for the first I mean it was Unreal I was on the ice um you know just trying to get the puck out as much as I could just try and you know dwindle that clock down as much as I could and um you know but in the last 5 minutes I think our group did an unreal job buckling down and you know just not giving them too many opportunities to tie the game back up I think that’s what veteran mature teams do and um and we showed that tonight
