   I’m going to miss My Jets Player Nikolaj Ehlers if he traded soon in this offseason or day before the 2024 NHL Draft. But I’m hoping the jets getting a huge return from him.

   There is no possible way that the Canes or Jets would do that trade. Jarvis is too valuable to Carolina especially already producing the way he is. Necas could be moved for Ehlers if there is no chance that he would re sign in Carolina (Probably won't). Ehlers is a UFA at the end of next season along side players like Orlov Kuznetsov Slavin and Burns. Meaning that the Canes would have tons of cap space to sign other talent and let Orlov Kuznetsov and Burns walk while possibly resigning Ehlers if he stays health and then of course re signing Slavin. The Winnipeg Jets would have to then both re sign Jarvis and Necas this offseason on pretty big deals. Perfetti would be less expensive than Jarvis. I just don't see how Winnipeg would trade him and the same for the Canes with Jarvis. Correct me if im wrong tho.

    Jets need D and 2nd line center or players who can be part of next core with Lambert,Chibrikov,Mcgroarty.

    1. Ehlers+Pionk/Stanley/Iafallo= Pulock+Nelson+ pick
    2. Byram/Schneider in NYC
    3. RFA NHL level prospects like Nemec,Mataychuk,Jiricek types
    4. Some people have said Ehlers for Necas. Probably wont happen.
    5. Chychrun and Orlov have been thrown around here but are entering last year as well and might not resign.
    6. A trade for futures Geekie+1st+2nd/3rd from Utah,Savoie+ from Buffalo.
    7. Older players with term like Sanheim,Provorov,Parayko.

    Dont have delusional trades like montreal fans do no ones interested in B prospects or giving players away Chevaldayoff has proven he waits and doesnt do trades.

    I think Milic,Divincentiis,Lambert,Salmonsson,Chibrikov,Mcgroarty,Heinola are not going anywhere.
    If prospects needed to be added in a deal Ford,Lucius,Zhilkin,Wagner even Kupari,Gustafson could be added.

    I find the Carolina trade intriguing, but I find a more simplified trade between Winnipeg and Carolina involving one of Nečas or Jarvis to Winnipeg for Ehlers. Considering the rumblings about Nečas wanting 1st line minutes, it makes too much sense that Nečas is who goes.
