If only that line could finish lol. They’re playing fairly well considering they don’t give up much and have the puck lots when they’re out there, would just like them to shoot more and finish in their chances.
Off memory I think they scored two goals, and had one goal against? And then one or two goals that they just flat out missed the net.

Round 3 is their chance to make their mark!
GoRangers5
Hmm, maybe put Chytil on the 4th line.

Someone told me that line sucks though!
kovyvok
That line is where offense goes to die and incomprehensible turnovers are born.

Now that we have a coach who will match lines the 3rd line’s ability to keep the puck in the other team’s zone, even if it doesn’t result in a goal, has a lot of value.

We just spent an entire series proving that 5v5 fancy stats don’t matter for shit, what matters is putting the puck in the net with elite finishers. If you look at only this table then they look great on a spreadsheet.
Cuylle hits, Wennberg hits… posts, and Kakko… Kakkos. None of these things end up putting the puck in the net.

3rd line in the 3rd round. Pumped up!

Kakko has no foot speed and Wennie can’t finish.
nyrangers95
Ironic because Tony D’s fanboy on here ripped Wennberg saying Brodz was better on that line.
Rell_826
Wennberg doesn’t shoot. That’s why they can’t finish.
8teamparlay
The lines been solid and extremely defensively responsible, but the xgf has me laughing because 24 and 91 are allergic to finishing ahaha. Kakkos only goal was a clean giveaway in the slot.
If we can get fil back it would be a drastic improvement for our bottom 6
ExplosiveButtFarts2
Kakko > McDavid confirmed
TreeFugger69420
This is the problem with cherry picked advanced stats. There isn’t a single scenario you’d prefer to have them on the ice over every other teams top line lol
LunarFocus
That line needs Chytil so bad for finishing
bk1537
Interesting, but I’d love to see actual goals for and against included with this data.
Agree, that’s something that’s plagued us for a long time, not being able to finish
