Tied for the lead in points and has the most goals for the Canucks in the playoffs. Huge loss going into Game 7. Hope he’s OK though, things are pilling up against the Canucks this post season.

Big yikes! Hope he gets better, that’s a huge loss

Glad they caught it early and it’s not life-threatening. Hopefully he makes a full recovery asap.

Canucks can’t catch break. Shitty for so many reasons, was really looking forward to Canucks best vs Oilers best for game 7. I’m sure the rest of his team will step up like Silovs has for them

Edit: not to sidestep the real issue of his health and push hockey to the forefront

This is the kind of issue bigger than sports and rivalries, hope he makes a complete recovery quickly and anyone else not wishing him the best is an asshole.

Man I hope he’s alright that’s a serious issue all the best to Brock!

Canucks will step it up in his honour !

  6. I’m going to get downvoted but people need to be more aware of the side effects of EPO’s

Stamkos had the same issue with blood clots earlier in his career. Other players have as well. I’m not naive enough to think hockey players are all clean, nor do I really care because it’s not like fighting where they try to knock each other out but they need to be made more aware of the side effects

As a oiler fan I really hope everything works out for him, he’s been phenomenal for them this year, and only gonna get better

  8. Oh no.

Quick send them Stammer’s and/or Andersen’s doc. Clots are not something to joke about

Wth! Sucks for fans but awesome for Brock he’s getting treated

  10. Grimmer026

If they advance, isn’t this a much longer recover than just 1 game?

  11. sahbatage

Now Vancouver has an excuse to make themselves feel better after they lose

  12. Rand_University81

We cannot catch a break these playoffs.

  13. Jolly_Job_9852

Oh no! Hope he gets the treatment he needs to get better quickly.

Guys we’re fine it’s just our #1 goal scorer and #1 goalie injured

  15. Man, the Canucks just cannot catch a break this post season.
