  1. We had Mitchkov at 5 in a forward draft 😮 Reinbacker probably as something we don't know yet.. IT MUST.. 😅🎉

If I'm building a solid cup contender team, I mean, Demidov all the way 😅😅😊

  2. I honestly think that Suzuki should've been top 3 for the Selkie. He didn't really have much help defensively and made plenty of good plays. Slafkovsky. Wow. This kid. 6 shots. An assist. Shootout goal and almost 22 minutes. He's 20! I think this guy has so much potential. Every game he continues to suprise me. I'm really starting to question if this guy could be a top 10 NHL player?

  3. I honestly am not dissapointed with Caufield. I know his production hasn't been there. But after an 82 game season where he probably played with a slight injury and had a down year. He probably isn't playing as he wants to. And I think he's trying to do too much. But I will say. I think he needs time to rest. And this off season. He will transition to a 40 goal scorer like we expected. And Guhle. I think he's exactly like Cam York. I think both are fantastic #2 defenseman but will take time to develop that defensive game before becoming the 40 point two way player. But Guhle. If there was someone you should compare him to. It's Weber. Maybe not that shot. But his physical leadership defense and offense is all a lot like him.

  4. Both goalies were absolutely exhausted and had cramps during the OT. Slovak player Pospíšil did not finish the game because of the cramps. The arena is really hot and it's even worse for the players as the ice is terrible too plus they are in full gear. I really hope the organisers will do something about it because it's unbearable to play in such condition.

  5. That goal in the shout-out that bounced on his pad then rolled in the goal shows sometimes that even if you have the best players, goalie, team, etc… that bad luck can happen & change everything.

  6. It is hockey tradition in Slovakia to use calculators before QF. I don't even remember WC when we didnt need to count every point, every goal, in order to find out our progress to the QF…

  7. Michkov is small. Reinbacher is big.
Michkov is a right winger. Reinbacher is right defenseman.
Michkov is flashy. Reinbacher is not.
What are people trying to compare exactly?
We'll have one of the top D core in the league We can sign a top offensive free-agent. Nothing to worry about. Plus we have great chances of drafting Demidov if the teams in front of us go for D or we draft another top pairing D. Whoever we end up picking we can fill the missing spots through trades or free agents. Hughes is a strategist that looks long term instead of trying to make a team like Toronto that fails in the playoffs but sure put on a good show during the season. I prefer we take the time to build a cup winning team.

  8. Team Slovakia needs one point against stacked team Sweden. It is still in their hands, so you can be sure they will play their asses off in the last group stage game. Go Slovakia go.

  9. Mitchkov has not gained much muscle, has not grown an inch, has not much improved his speed, has barely added anything physical or defensive to his game in any way in Sochi.
Sochi this season equaled the record for goals against not only ever recorded by Sochi themselves but in the whole history of the KHL by any team. When was that initial record ever set you ask ? Well, just last year just when Michkov started to have significant minutes for them.
Oh he'll be an NHLer alright, he'll score some beautiful goals, sure, but win anything ? Not a chance.
Reinbacher will never be a superstar, a superb wizz, but what he might be is the guy that get you to win a championship, maybe even a cup.

  10. slafkovsky was so pissed in interviews after the game. you can tell he hates loosing. in montreal he answers patiently to the reporters but he so hates slovak reporters after loosing, its kinda funny

  11. Guy Carbonneau and Bob Gainey could not win Selke's in today's league but none of today's players could come close to how good those two were at shutting down the best players on opposing teams. Selke is supposed to be best defensive forward not best top scoring defensive forward.

  12. Has nothing to do with Reinbacher this was a massive miss by Mtl and worse of all the politics against Russians was the reason why not a lesser evaluation

  13. I doubt we draft Demidov.
A GM ince said, "There are players who get you to the playoffs, then there are players who get you through the playoffs."
Slaf will excel in the playoffs, Reinbacher is built for the playoffs, Mishkov and Demidov not so much.
I truly believe their target is Lindstrom.

  14. I’m very confused about Michkov. If he had a contract, how did he get out of it? Why would the team let go of supposedly the best Russian player in years? If he didn’t have a contract, why would the khl team go along with the lie? This is very weird

  15. Michkov made it clear that he wanted to play in Philadelphia. If the habs drafted him he may not have terminated his SKA contract. He may not even have signed an entry level contract with the habs. Or he may have pulled a lindros. I am weary of entitled players who make it known where he goes to play.
