For the last several games, the streams I've watched had what I can only describe as "ringing noises" in the background. (Or I guess "modem sounds" if you're old enough to know what a modem sounds like).
It's right in the 1-3kHz range. It sounds like it cycles through a pattern of 4-5 "notes" at a rate of about 2Hz, and then repeats. It only appears in the live game audio (and replays), but never in the commercials. It's volume is proportional to the average volume of the rest of the audio at any given time.

Does anyone else hear it? (Or did you not notice, and now you do, and now it will bother you?)

I absolutely heard it, no one else in the room did and I thought I was going nuts! Vindication!
The frequency notches the tones cycle through are (with narrow notch width):
1119 Hz
1121 Hz
1136 Hz
1297.5 Hz
1313 Hz
1484 Hz
1686 Hz
1671.5 Hz
2092 Hz
There are 4-5 distinct “notes” and each one uses a set of these. If you put a notch filter to remove just these frequencies from the stream it disappears entirely.
I notice this too when listening to games on the radio. XM gives the home feed of various games and I know Carolina’s feed is the most obvious but it happens with others
I thought I was going insane man lmao
So annoying. I muted my tv multiple times to make sure it was coming from the tv and not somewhere else
It has been driving me nuts. It sounds like a UFO in the background. Are they programming us?!?
