@Dallas Stars

The entire NHL should be VERY afraid…

I want to recap the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche / Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers series as we finish up the second round of the NHL playoffs.

  1. Keep Dissin my Rangers I love it , we just dismantled the canes …Cats next
And not 1 Ranger player nominated for a Regular Season award, not even the President Trophy winning Coach……

  2. Eck claiming he likes the Stars, but releasing a video right when the NHL has been starting the majority of their playoff games (late af) just to mock us.

Seriously though, great video. Can’t wait for the next round

  3. my issue with dallas is the way they were taken away from minnesota and their current uniforms. they are awful: the shade of green, the logo, just everything.

  4. And Vegas played them to 7 with mostly 1 goal games. 1 two goal win for Dallas and 2 two goal wins for Vegas (one was an EN)

  5. My fam randomly picked Dallas before the post season began. The odds were 20:1 at the time and we put 300 on them.. makes every game exciting as hell lol

  6. Glad to see you cover the stars in a positive light and talk about the blatant blown call

Even more glad to see you acknowledge the comments claiming you dislike the stars; as a stars fan myself, it definitely came off like that at times

Cheers Eck, love the channel 🙂

  7. Just gonna say it, in my humble opinion it takes a lot of external forces to take out the avs in recent years. From chains of injuries, player assistance program, bad calls, or just bad juju from fans jinxing the hell out of their own team. I had an avs signed duchene jersey as part of my hockey shrine, and just look what happened!! 😢

  8. Marchment always feels like he gets the shaft, so him getting it again in such a huge game and then the dagger being by Duchene of all people was just absolute poetry.

  9. What's really awesome to see for us Dallas fans is that we just handed the best home team in the NHL 3 losses in Denver. Colorado suffered 10 total home regulation/OT losses the entire year at home. Really incredible feat, especially after how Colorado handled WPG in the first round.

  10. That “no goal” makes up 100% for Hulls foot in the crease. I don’t wanna hear a god damn thing about that anymore lol

  11. Every greasy playoff netfront goal from the 70s-2010 woulda been waived off by today's GI standards lmao. It's trash

  12. Av's also got Skog weighing them down too. Between the constant injured status and when he does play, consistently making bad plays that hurt his team. They've only gotten 2 years of him playing on an 8 year contract….yikes.

  13. Uhhhh the rangers faced the Canes who have a pretty good offensive front too. Difference is, Florida actually has finishers. Carolina's goal scoring dries up every playoff run.

  14. That no goal call literally couldve changed the outcome of this series. Terrible stuff. Make the right call especially when you have the power to review it and get a second chance. Just bad. Series ends on a review oh freaking well at least the right call is being made. Colorado got handed a second life in OT and still lost.

  15. My weird hot take is that Toronto would’ve beat Florida, I felt like it was a better matchup overall for them, but that’s just me

  16. Thank you for saying that there were technically 2 goals scored in overtime. I mean, I try not to be an armchair ref and I assure you I keep my mouth shut on those things. But after seeing what happened in the Bruins game and Dallas overtime, I finally said I disagree with the “no goal” call and here is why. I totally understand that refs make these calls in seconds and it is a tough job. But there must be some agreed criteria and a little less subjective on the refs part to the crease call. I have a USA hockey book full of scenarios in games and rationales. Perhaps this needs to be addressed this summer before the next season. Still, I am happy things still worked out for the Stars. ⭐️ Time to move on.
