If you owned the kings would you keep Blake and robitalie ? I know that when owners hire x hockey players as GM and president , it’s because they want guys who %50 of the fans have a hard time calling for there heads . X players as coaches that makes sense ! Front office you need business men like dean Lombardi etc who’s job are on the online !

They are probably sour about the iafallo/ vilardi since they still hangout with each other but can’t put that on pld that was robs doing. Sucks for pld how he is being treated.

PLD is a cancer on this team every team has been on going back to juniors has had a better winning percentage after he's left. Not sure what super power Blake thinks he has to fix him but he can't others have tried. Cut your loss while you can or start the fire sale Kopitar and Doughty should be delt if they wanna win cause it won't happen with him on the team.

My psychological assessment of PLD is that as a 3rd pick by Columbus in 2016 at age 18 he has gone into a depression and personality disorder because he never lived up to the 3rd pick great star potential. It is a stigma and curse to be picked #3 and be a mediocre flub and bust with being rejected by teams and teammates and the world of the NHL regards him as a loser, a drag in the clubhouse and on the ice, and the butt of jokes and sarcasm around the league. Further, I don’t think any shrink can fix the mental damage he has sustained since playing in the NHL.
He is damaged goods. He is now paralyzed in a deep spiral and loss of confidence and interest.
At age 26 he was supposed to “put out” up to NHL standards. He failed miserably. Whatever skill and work ethic was suppose to be already engrained by age 26 and naturally executed night after night even if playing in the 3rd line.
It is actually a very sad story to see a 3rd pick flop, but even sadder that the Kings got stuck with his flop which greatly harmed the team this year, especially in the playoffs where he was MIA and low energy and a nothingburger.
What they should do is move pld and doughty(50% retained) for marner(with an extension) and then move a 1st and turcotte for saros(with an extension)
