[Rob Williams] The Canucks are currently in a place where few Canucks teams have been before. Only three Canucks teams have made it further in the Stanley Cup Playoffs: 1982, 1994, 2011

So every time we win the second round, we go to the finals and lose?

The only other teams to get to three wins in round 2: 2003, 2020

Boeser news tough to hear. Hope he is going to be ok

The Canucks have alternated 2 wins and 2 losses in game 7 since 1995. With our last 2 losses being Vegas and Boston, we’re due for 2 wins now:
Edmonton and New York

I had to rewatch our 2011 run… cause game 6 last night ruined my mood…
I know we didn’t win the cup- cough we all know why cough- but it still brings me joy & happy memories, to have gone that far & fought against a dirty bruins team all the way till game 7… sigh..
I don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow’s game… for me, its a MUST win… we HAVE to beat the oilers.. that’s the bare minimum… but IF we don’t… fml… I want us to beat the oilers , not letting Dallas do it (cause of course they will…)..

Coming from a guys who won once and been in the league for almost 20 years..
“You work your entire life to be in a position to play for a Cup,” Marchand said. “I spoke on it the other day a little bit, but to win and go all the way you need to be willing to sacrifice things.
“The longer you play the more you realize how hard it is to win, just the differences in teams that win and teams that don’t, and how perfect everything has to line up,” he said. “You hope every year that it goes your way for the team, not just winning it all but even being part of a team like this. You appreciate it because it doesn’t happen every year and you never know when the next opportunity is going to be and if you’re ever going to get one again.”

Demko out, Boeser out, and essentially Pettersson out. We have bigger problems, it’s looking grim.

Regardless of the outcome I have REALLY enjoyed being a Canucks fan this year. I love the guys and they’re fun to watch (usually). I’m grateful it’s been such a good ride because that’s not always been the case. Also, get well, Brockstar.

I didn’t have high hopes for this season, I just though maybe they could fighting for a wild card. so the boys winning the division, and getting to the second round and on the verge to the WCF if they win the next game is a insane.

This year was supposed to be a big step towards being a contender in the future and instead we made a giant leap. This season has been a victory for us no matter what happens next. We should all be very happy with how the team is playing now.

That’s crazy…. So in other words, whenever the Canucks make it out of round 2, they end up in round 4??? Impressive. I’m neutral here. If the Canucks beat the Oilers, I’ll be rooting for them. If they win the Cup, I’m done with the Oilers…

The saddest thing I’ve heard in a while

And they’ve never lost a third round series

Just need to crush the Oil at home, the whole team could be out but I don’t care. Oilers are as injured and burnt out as the Canucks are there are no excuses barring trash non-calls.

This teams going all the way.

Why isn’t the 2003 team on this list? They went to game 7 of the second round too…

Well were tied with the 2020 canucks now right?
