Very productive AHL player, I don’t see any issue here. I also hope we don’t necessarily see him next year in Chicago given the likely acquisition of better forwards and (ideally) much better injury luck.

For a team that’s gonna be growing players in the AHL for the next like 7 years this is a really important signing that most people don’t quite understand the importance of. He’s a guy who can play with anyone and just about anywhere you want him, he’s perfect to grow a bunch of young players with.

I kid, great move for the Hogs and it provides us another depth bottom 6er if we have 100 injuries again this season.
