  1. How is that physicality argument working out. We had jack johnson he was blamed for everything. Dragging down the rush. Gudbranson as well. Everyone was over the moon for jeff petry trade. Sorry but that trade was terrible and petry is playing sheltered 3rd pairing minutes in Detroit. So the physicality argument is ridiculous. You cant have it both ways. Either have speed and skill on the blueline or size and physicality with little speed and skill. This fan base goes back and fourth its redundant. Very few players have speed skill size and physicality on the blueline.

  2. Should they not just trade away all their draft picks for the remaining years that Crosby is there? Need NHL proven players now, we don’t have time to develop players and waste Crosby’s last years. Then when Crosby retires we go back to developing players….maybe have a bad year and get a good chance at 1st round pick.

Idk if it’s good that they went on that streak this year and lost this years 1st rd pick (although they would had chance at lottery draft being like 7th worst if they would kept losing), but now they have next years 1st rd pick instead of keeping this years cause deal was if they finished 12th or better they lose this years 1st rd, if they’d finish in bottom 11th or worse they would kept this years and gave up next years.

  3. Love the description about what physicality is, some people act like you're talking about a cavemen hitting some player over the head with his club. I'm always referring to exactly what you're getting it. Guys that use their body, what strength they possess, and a cool-headed aggression, to prevent the opposing team from just camping our net all game, blocking our goalies vision, getting rebound trash in our net, all game, night after night. In the playoffs especially you gotta bump these guys off the puck, off their game, off their position. Can't just chill there and stand next to them, hoping you can lift their stick or something at the perfect moment.
