Third line LW with Wennberg and Kakko. Cuylle down to the front line with Goodrow and Vesey. I think this is one of the options that makes sense

If Chytil is available you play him end of story. The insanely high scoring upside he brings to that third line offsets whatever physicality Rempe brings for his 5 mins of ice time. If it gets ultra chippy you can slot him in for game 2, but this is the way for opening night lineup

Rempe in the lineup doesn’t move the toughness needle more than Chytil moves the scoring needle. Plus Fil will be playing a game at home in MSG for the first time in forever. Just like Rempe that is going to boost the crowd and bring energy. I will do my best to start a Chytil chant.

This team is getting healthier while other teams are losing players. Looks like the only player injured right now is Ben Harpur, which I wouldn’t really even count since he was in Hartford to start the season and wouldn’t have been called up unless there were several injuries on defense.

I’m only if favor of starting rempe in game one as I believe Florida is going to come out extremely physical/dirty to set the tone and it would be better to have rempe there than not.

I still don’t get the excitement over Fragile Fil, a brittle player who can never stay healthy and during the rare times when he is healthy – then he can’t win a faceoff to save his life while also going 20 straight games without a goal. Give me Rempe.
