[Kate Pettersen] Conor Garland with tears welling up talking about #Canucks fans- “they’re the greatest. They really are. It’s hard not to get emotional at the end because they are the best. It’s too bad we came up short but we’ll be better for this but ya, they’re the greatest.”

Garly got quite a bit of heat before this year but hes proving himself pivotal as a player in all regards. In games where no one is going he’s just skating and grinding away and doing his god damn best to claw some momentum into the team, a modern day Burrows or Hansen

Garly’s a hell of a player, gave it his all every single shift ❤️

    Keep this dude around forever.

You could tell he had a chip on his shoulder from how things ended in Arizona. Dude wanted to feel appreciated and have a team that supports him, I think we’ve done that. I can appreciate a guy who gives back like that, i hope they give him more top 6 opportunity next season.

I was in the arena and noticed him on every shift today when he was out there. Just relentless. Glad we got a short “Connor Garland” chant going in the third.

This man is the type of player that defines our team. A class act and warrior all in one. Very grateful to have him on the team next year.

I need Conor Garland to know that the city of Vancouver fucking loves him and respects the heart and spirit he brought to every single game. He truly gave 110% every single night. So glad that people at the arena got a chant in for him this game, so incredibly deserved.

  7. He deserves to wear an A next year and I hope mgmt doesn’t ever consider trading him again. He was constantly playing hard and trying to get us back in it and I’m happy most fans finally love him as a player. He should be in our core after these playoffs and season.

Went from a no one to my favourite player. Hopefully we sign him long term

  9. If this team had nine more Conor Garlands we’d have a cup in Vancouver. Love this guy

Garland went from trade bait to being a pivotal piece of this team. Gotta give Tocc a ton of credit for seeing that value and Garly for playing balls to the wall each shift.

Shameful performance by most of the guys for 2.5 periods tonight. Garly is not one of them.

Honestly, after this post-season I think he’s my favourite player on the team

Considering buying a Garland jersey. This guy’s a total beaut

He’s definitely proved to be one of the better players on the ice tonight.

A+ in my book. Never quit on a play, want more like him.

Garland plays the game the way everyone should play the game.

He doesn’t take a shift off, he doesn’t take anything for granted. When you see him make a move on the ice or skate with the puck, you can envision the hours he’s spent practicing it because he’s doing it exactly the way your coach would tell you to do it.

This guy was the only skater giving a damn that the team was in R2G7. I feel so bad for him that he gives it his all, 120% each shift and each battle only to come up short because the other guys can’t be bothered to even show a modicum of hustle or half the effort he put in.

This is a Conor Garland and Conor Garland neckguard fanpage.

Keep this man for the rest of his career, and give him whatever he wants.

    He showed up.

    Every. Damn. Night.

I think some of you need to calm down and wait for the injury reveals. Of course I can also name names of guys that “looked terrible”, but Hughes got crunched HARD more than once against Nashville. The WC coach said even if this canucks were out, Hronek wasn’t healthy enough. Like chill. I’m as upset as anyone, but I don’t think any of you go to work with broken ribs, torn labrum, etc etc.
