The team has been saying this for a while now but reluctant to spend the assets to get a proven 2C, if any team would be willing to give one in a trade. They tried with Kotkaniemi, but it hasn’t panned out as planned and at some point this team needs to have a consistent top six. Rotating three to four players through the 2C spot just isn’t a recipe for success.
