Brad Marchand on Sam Bennett’s punch 16052024

šŸ“Œā€œI think he got away with a shot. But Iā€™m not gonna complain. Shit happens. ā€¦ Iā€™ve been on the other side of a lot of plays. Thatā€™s part of the game, part of playoff hockey. Sucks to be on the other side of it, but that stuff happens.”

  1. "I'm not gonna complain, but yeah i think he got away with one." Hahaha so your little rat self is gonna complain. Its okay he'll slew foot more players next seaaon.

  2. Iā€™d like to see Al the Octopus on Bradly Kevinā€™s face. Itā€™d be an improvement to his looks and attitude. Comments about him being classy and not whining is like a PT conference with the kid whose behavior is worst in the class. Got to make a complement sandwich as not to offend anyone.

  3. I like the way he says Iā€™ve been on the other side of it other words heā€™s done the same exact shit

  4. If it's part of hockey, why are we talking about it. You can't say it's part of hockey, then I think he got away with one in the same breath. He's either a cheap shot artist, or it was " just part of hockey ".

  5. This isnā€™t g@y soccer this is hockey. He took it like a man. He would do the same to Bennett if he could and has to others in the past. He didnā€™t get the name King Rat because heā€™s nice. I donā€™t like him but I do respect him.

  6. I like Marchand, but in this case he is talking about a "phantom" punch, he lined Bennett up for a hit, Bennett saw him coming and braced to hit back – fair on both side, Marchy just came of worse out of it. Respect he is not crying about it though.

  7. When your name is the ratā€¦.you canā€™t criticize someone who does something to you that you have been doing to others every game your entire career ā€¦ā€¦good for you March for your honestyā€¦..

  8. Marchand is one of the games dirtiest players and very easy to hate unless you're a Bruins fan. Not that I'll ever like him, but I have a new respect for him after hearing his comments.
