Coach Lester Patrick on April 7 1928, during game 2 of the Stanley cup finals fills in for injured netminder Lorne Chabot who suffers an eye injury in the middle of the second period. Patrick becomes the oldest man to play in the Stanley Cup Finals at 44 years of age.
