  1. Stars gonna smash the oil, hate to say it but they have no shot. Should make for a fun series though, more than you can say about the nucks/oil series.

  2. Oilers was 0-4 vs Canucks in regular season, but beat them in playoffs. Oilers also never lost to Stars in the previous playoff meetings. Who wins WCF? Absolutely Oilers. Who wins Stanley Cup this year? Oilers!

  3. Too many armchair GMs commenting here that just regurgitate what they hear from sports panels. This is the playoffs. Forget what happened in the regular season. Who is hungrier? We will see. Let's just hope it is good hockey without any dirty BS.

  4. DAL is going to give EDM a hulk hogan legdrop and a 1-2-3 pinfall by no later than game 6 lol.

dallas has better goaltending and scoring depth. any canadian hockey fan that wants to root for EDM, great.

just look at the reality of what EDM truly is: a heavily flawed p-off team.

cheers from southern ontario, canada 🍁

  5. Sure Dallas has good depth but Hintz might not be available for the series. He's currently out day to day with an injury. That said the Stars are still good enough even without their #1 center.

  6. As a Flames fan it was really weird to be cheering for the Oilers vs the Canucks. But now I'll be cheering for Tanev.

  7. OIlers fan here…Dallas is a more complete team…. tighter and far more reliable. Edmonton has leaks everywhere…..Hard to trust a team that can surrender a lead as quickly as Edmonton. And they do consistently. The D core is simply a breakdown machine~ too many jaw dropping basic errors under pressure. Dallas can handle the pressure better…I hope this series goes 6-7 games.

  8. Watching how Edmonton moves the puck it pisses me off with all the skill the Leafs have and their game always looks so disjointed. Watching Mcdavid sometimes looks like Watching the Harlem Globetrotters out there….

  9. When Duchene scored in 2OT he said that Avs have better top guys than Stars but they got gassed and Dallas can roll all their lines. Avs and Oilers are very similar teams.

  10. Dallas fans are getting too cocky with most of their teams running deep into the playoffs. Stars a good team but not foolproof

  11. Oilers dont play 60 minutes… of the 4 teams left they are the weakest mentally IMO… most leaks on the ice as well too many basic breakdowns. I'd be shocked if they made it to the Cup round and more so if they won the cup. Dallas in 5 maybe 6.

  12. Dallas has a significant advantage. I expect the Oilers to push them, but it's Stars' year. Stars in 6

  13. Gotta give the Assistant coaches props to they also helped out lots too 🙂 they never seem to get enough credit its always the HEAD COACH 🙂

  14. Oiler fan but gotta give the edge to Dallas. As much as I would love to see the oil win the cup again I honestly believe the final will be Dallas Rangers with Rangers coming out as champs

  15. As a Canadian and a Toronto boy, it would be real nice to see Edmonton in Stanley Cup finals. Really hope this happens.

  16. The Desharnais/Nurse pairing and the Kulak/Ceci pairing was a great move! I'll definitely give Knobs credit for that. Desharnais has grown immensely! He is elevating Nurse's game, and the same goes for Kulak elevating Ceci's game.

  17. Dallas has a deeper team and obvious better goaltender. But as far as regular season goes, both teams are nearly identical in Regulation Wins, Goals For and Goals against. And this playoffs Edmonton has the top 4 point producers out of all teams, Dallas doesn’t have any in the top 10. Oilers are #1 in power play and penalty kill and Dallas are 11th in penalty kill. I don’t know how this will turn out but I don’t think it’s gonna be a blow out either way.

  18. edmonton is a team with a lot of players from Ontario, the hockey capital of the world; ususally those teams do well in playoffs…their only disappointment is not being a Toronto Maple Leaf…

  19. Like all playoffs it's anybody's win I think oilers are a more experienced team then Dallas the person that said it best was LA kings captain when they lost series Edmonton has changed from the team I was use to playing to a smarter experienced team that he has saw and this is Daugh the captain who has played oil every playoffs series last 4 years

  20. It’s nuts that the oilers made it to wcf with Calvin pickard as there back just shows the year they are having
