The Swiss rink is wider than an NHL regulation rink so it fucks upp the goalies angles and makes more room for the offense to get through, also the flyers D didn’t know how to stop that meanwhile the Swiss team knew all. The ways to use the wider to an advantage.

Turns out the team who get's perhaps their only chance to beat an NHL team was trying a lot harder than the team who traveled overseas to play in a different sized rink..oh and it's an exhibition match. Imagine if someone got hurt before the actual season. Flyers played this just like an NFL preseason game.
