I am completely stunned that they shit the bed this badly. How do you come out with such a pathetic performance in a game 7?

  2. braedenb7

Seriously what are they doing. Slow and bland performance. Especially from a game 7 home team

  3. insignificance424

Team booked their tee time and didn’t tell Arty

  4. Firestorm238

I wish we had given other young players a chance too…

That was such an embarrassing game. They had no will to win.

Silovs, amazing goaltending Vancouver should be proud. Hell of a series and with Boeser out that hurt a lot.

We Oilers fans have high blood pressure and soar asses from the pucker during that last 5 mins.

Joke of a game 7 for our team. Anyway fuck you and see you all next season

Alright not a nucks fan but I want to give props to silovs it was a good series to watch. GL next season

Edmonton fan here but my god, was Silovs solid this series. For a guy who didn’t have much NHL experience beforehand, he held his own well.

You guys are lucky to have him. Good series! Sad a Canadian team had to be eliminated.

    *third period starts*

“Oh, fuck, this is game 7, isn’t it??”

    -the rest of our team

At least now I can cancel my Sportsnet subscription and save 20 bucks a month. I wouldn’t be as bitter as I am if they at least showed some pride for the first 50 minutes of every game.

Edmonton played well, the Canucks looked tired and injured. Tocchet could have picked some better replacements for Boeser, choosing offence instead of another 4th line grinder. The PP was doodoo.

At the end of the series it looked like Vancouver had to battle through the first round and Edmonton didn’t and thus had more energy.(refs kind of fucked LA in round one IMO)

The series momentum shifted on the missed high stick call of McDavid on Hughes and the BS Soucy suspension. Still, you need to overcome the bullshit which this team didn’t.

    Dallas in 5.

Genuinely not understanding how you lay an egg in Game 6, you come back home to your home crowd, completely beatable opponent, and almost nobody shows up?

Like, I love this team and this group in particular did so well this season, but man..

Same goes for Tocchet too – call a fuckin timeout and just stare at the whole team. Jesus Christ – what happened to the compete we had in Game 5? It was not long ago.

I’m relieved they managed to put some effort in for about 5 minutes. Really wish they put the whole 60. I do think this is good experience for the team.

This game for the first 2 periods felt like a mirror match of bubble Vegas game 7 with Demko. The team in front of Silovs just didn’t come to play tonight.

  16. CrookedSoldiers

Petey garland Hughes and Silovs the only ones who showed up the ENTIRE game…

Tbh Hughes actually looked a bit rough in the 1st but dude been 70% of the team at times so we can deffo give him a pass on 1 game this playoffs

But overall team actually looks solid; assuming we don’t move to much this year and can retain somewhat of our depth core (pls don’t let Z walk) then we should have an insane run for a few years.

So all in all.. lessons learned tonight
