  1. This laughable obsession, along with most of the comments here, are just a pathetic, clueless joke & it's complete pretend/hypothetical to assume Lynch would've scored carrying from the 1,***as he only had a 30~38% conversion rate all season in that scenario, people***!!>>I mean, it matters not 110% {i.e., IRRELEVANT) "whether Marshawn got the ball or not", because peopleee what TRULY MATTERS is EXECUTION, duhhh….I mean, Wilson throws a shitty ball{needed to be thrown to Lockett down & away to prevent INT) & at the same time Lockett "telegraphs" the play pre~snap to Butler & Pats D, then runs a shitty route while NOT protecting the ball{i.e., not batting it down if he couldn't catch it, as EACH WR is taught & coached to do), WWTFF!! ALSO, if a run were truly needed, on that play Wilson himself had the clearest path to the endzone running the ball himself~a competely logical adjustment extending the play from the shotgun, since he had always flashed great skill as a runner in pass formations{e.g., RPO)…..All this Marshawn talk is simply BS ; y'all, if we want & got a "players' league" here, then it BETTER BE THE CASE that playerssss & their execution on the field are scrutinized 1st <<Starting right here & NO MORE SO than with the ending of SB XLIX>>Russ & Ricardo f*cked up~FULL STOP!

  2. Absolutely the DUMBEST play call in the history of football……GIVE THAT MAN THE BALL…….. FACTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS……!!!!

  3. He’s not talking about the Super Bowl,
He’s talking about a game vs AZ,
For the record Marshawn didn’t get them down there in the Super Bowl it was the crazy pass that Malcolm Butler knocked down but Kearse still made the catch,
For the record 24 scored only once on five attempts from the 1 yard line that season, and NE had basically their whole team ready to stop the run

  4. If you watch the last 2 drives before it, they stopped Lynch on successive short yardage plays. Then as they went to the sideline, Baldwin was politicking saying he was open and to look at me at the goalline. Lynch looked winded after that 1st down run. The Pats were loading up looking to tackle him. It would have made sense to try to catch them off guard with the pass. Malcolm Butler just made an unbelievable read. It wasn't a bad play call, it was amazing video study by Belichick, and amazing work by Butler to remember what they prepped them for, and make a jump on that ball… make the pick… and remember to get out of the end zone with the ball.

  5. The play that FOREVER broke my trust in ANY football team. I root ONLY for the NFL; meaning a good game. I love football, so when the game is really played well; no matter who wins, I’m satisfied.

Super Bowl 58 is a perfect example of what I mean. That was one of the best games of football I’d ever watched. 😁❤️‍🔥💯💪🏾

  6. Nfl like nba it's rigged not Real football like back then. No point watching sell soul for 60 minutes of play

  7. Anybody who believes this silly narrative is either sorely deceived or blisfully ignorant. They simply wanted to have two plays at the end of the game. That's all. This is so pathetic it's mind numbing.

  8. It's been nearly 10 yrs.
Talking about it won't change it, & we already understood the beast gesture.

  9. Funny how the defensive guys blame one play that wouldn't have mattered if Wilson's pass to Kearse was made. Nobody says the defense gave up the biggest lead in the second half in Superbowl history.

  10. This explains Belichick’s view from his sideline why he didn’t call the timeout and he said they look unorganized and he wasn’t bailing them out by calling the timeout if they want it they can call it.

Now we know why they were unorganized
