Rangers have the best record in franchise history. They have the best record in the league. They have the best special teams both offensively and defensively. They have the best goalie. They beat a team that they said they were going to lose to. They have the most comeback wins in the league. Yet they’re still underdogs. The panthers beat a overrated Tampa bay team. And they beat a bruins team that had 16 overtime losses on the year with massive inflated numbers. Make it make sense

Rempe might play some minutes but Chytl and Wheeler are returning for this series. Rangers are heading into the ECF with the most depth they've had all season.
Rangers have the edge at the net, though Bobrovsky is not a weak Goalie by any means. Rangers have a little more talent at the forwards, but the Panthers are a tougher group of guys. So while the Rangers might be more likely to get the pretty, clever goal, the Panthers are almost as likely to do that and more likely to outmuscle and outgrind the Rangers. Both defenses are good. The Rangers have the edge on special teams. Overall, stats-wise, you may not find anything that really separates the 2 teams. During the regular season, for a stretch, the Panthers looked like the most dominant of any team this year. They had the President's trophy 2 years ago and a run to the Final last year, so they've been knocking on the door and probably feel confident that this might be their year. Only after this series ends I think you will be able to tell what was the difference. And it may come down to a clutch goal, or save, or lucky puck bounce in OT. Rangers in 7.

I’m a rangers fan and I will say Florida is a very scary team and I have lots of respect for them. Igor and Bob have been unbelievable this postseason so I think this will be up to the goaltenders bc of how evenly matched these two teams are. With that being said I’m gonna say rangers in 6 but would not be surprised if it goes to 7. Anything can happen in hockey so we as hockey fans are in for a great series
Lafreniere is at a PPG pace on his off wing with almost 0 PP time. Kids an absolute stud, and he mucks it up in the corners too. Anyone who wrote him off is going to be sour when he’s a point per game player next year.
To me I’ve watched the rangers all year they like these tight games because they are still winning the way they have all year I give them the edge the panthers last cup run the following year the rangers took them out talk about déjà vu all over again!!!!!

The rangers shouldn’t lose this series the panthers are highly overrated this year.
I respect the opinion that Florida is taking the series.. that’s fine and it’s close enough that I don’t blame anyone for going either way. But every time you broke down numbers it showed the Rangers are better. While you were breaking down numbers in this video, your ultimate take seems to be on feeling.
The Rangers only hope in this series is to get physical and match Florida's grit. Florida is mean whereas Carolina was all speed and finesse. This is the final 4. It is time to unleash Matt Rempe and let him fight if challenged. Trouba needs to use his body as a human torpedo. Miller is 6'5 and a tough guy who doesn't always show it, he needs to get his hands dirty. I would dress 6'5 Blake Wheeler and put him on the 3rd line. Try to draw the Panthers into several fights and many scrums, where the game will devolve into a special teams battle. That's how the Rangers manhandled the Capitals and were able to beat out Carolina the first two games even though Carolina had the edge in 5v5 play, because the penalties were 4-5 each per team. Shesterkin has the edge over Bob at this point in his career. Bob had a great season but he's been on the decline for 5 straight years before this. What Bob did this year is just an average year for Shesterkin. Rangers in 7.
If the Rangers play with consistency and intensity the Rangers will win series.

Hard part is you can't really get too much out of the Caps series. The metro is so bad that they had multiple teams that arent playoff ready floating in and out of that spot. Canes also got swept by FL last year. This will be a real test for the Rangers. If they can beat FL then they can win the cup, but its not likely they take this series.

Panthers in 6. They’ll lose the first one. Rangers are wicked and it sucks to see them go but playoff panthers are nuts. Panthers beat Oilers for Stanley cup this year you heard it here first
its going 7 I feel like the Rangers are going to give them a lot more problems then the Bruins have. You have a ton of offense on the Rangers side that the Bruins just didnt have. Kreider,Zibenajad,Lafreienere,Panarin, Trocheck, Rangers now have Chytil back and Wheeler is available if needed. I predict rangers in 7 I think its going to be a tight close series but id go rangers in 7.
The one thing is that the Rangers I felt made themseleves a lot more convincing of a team by knocking out Carolina twice in the last 3 seasons. Carolina has had one of the best defensive cores in the leauge and 2 very good lines including Seth Jarvis, Sebestian Aho, Jordan Staal(not the greatest of series), Jake Guentzel. And Carolina has been a team favored to win the cup the last 3 seasons in a row under Rob Bri'ndamour.
One other thing is Chytil could be a major addition to their bottom 3 , when he came back in the playoffs he showed signs of life. I think Florida will show the Rangers a physical side that Carolina has not, likewise I think the Rangers are going to be the most complete team the Panthers have shown, the Rangers are a lot more of an offensive threat of the bruins, and I still think this year the Rangers overall are a more complete team then Tampa because of AV's somewhat struggles in net. Overall again Say Rangers in 7 but these will be very close games and a lucky goal could force this either way,
