In 2023 Sheldon Keefe was the only man still alive to have coached the Leafs to a playoff series win, that was perhaps his biggest accomplishment to date.
With Keefe having time on his deal is there any compensation going to the Maple Leafs

As a Devils personality watching Hockey Central over the Years it was Kyle Dubas setting up Brad Treliving with a not so flexible physical and determinated core. Marner, Matthews, Nylander all extended and not much flexibility on the backend and losing key bottom 6 guys hurt the Leafs this year.
Keefe was the chef and had to work with the ingredients the past two GM’s gave him. Keefe will succeed in NJ with his coaching style.
