I truly believe the best move this year is to TRADE DOWN. Get Parekh or Buium and trade down to 5-9… and get another pick for 2026.

Crawford is overrated. Most overrated goalie over 20 years. Was he bad? No. But lets stop pretending he was an elite goalie for the entirety of his career. Should he have won the Smythe? Yes. But that doesn't mean he's an elite HOF goalie.

I’m in on Levushonov or Lidstrom ,because we need players bigger than 6 foot 2 ,On Demidov he’s 5,11 and we have to wait 2 years for his khl contract to run out . Also picks 20 ,34 ,54 we can pickup some big LW players After pick 60 , there’s very few big players . Check nhl prospect rankings. We need shots on net , and hits, on defense.
Again, you guys miss the point on Russian players. Its not that they might not come over, its more about the moral dilemma of having a russian player on your team. Do me a favor, don't get upset when russian player X refuses to support pride night, or military appreciation night, or publicly supports a war criminal in putin (just like your boy Ovi does). Why take that risk?
