  1. Losing Brock broke the backs of the squad. Incredible season for the lads, young core only gonna get better. Letā€™s take a run at signing Lindy.

  2. Of course he's not happy.
    He's a competitor.
Nobody thought the Canucks would even make the playoffs this year never mind almost get to the third round.
Absolutely nothing to hang their heads about.
There is no quit in this team.
I am so looking forward to next season and watching them play.
Thanks for a great ride and so many wonderful moments this season.
Fair weather fans should maybe take up lawn bowls for their sports fix instead of hockey.
    Go Canucks Go!

  3. Whereā€™s the ā€œF-you Oilersā€and ā€œF-you McDavidā€ chants at?? Cockiest fan base everā€¦ playoff hockey is not reg season, tough lesson to learn.

  4. no one should be happy with how our season ended. We could'v easily gone onto round 3 but all our star players got outmatched by oilers stars and especially in the last 2 games. This team was set up to go far this year with the addition of lindholm, and our depth players. No one showed up except boeser. Demko could've been ready to steal the series in round 3.

  5. For a team.that was suppose to sneak into the playoffs they took the supposed Stanley Cup favourites to game 7 can't be unhappy about that.

  6. Not a fan of the oilers or the Canucks but I was cheering for Edmonton. And for everyone saying the Canucks didnā€™t show up, your wrong. Every time they had possession I was worried. Shots on net be damned. They had so many shots blocked and near misses on net. Quality scoring opportunities that just never panned out. The second I said Edmonton was playing a perfect defensive game, Vancouver pops in 2 goals. This series was close.

  7. We never really saw the canucks until the last 7 minutes of the game. Had they played that intensely from the first period, they would have likely had 5 or 6 goals near the end of the game. Too little too late.

  8. To be playing no playoff games to playing 13 is a big improvement. I see us competing in the conference finals in the next couple years.

  9. The thing to remember is: The Canucks have exceeded expectations this year. The Oilers? Consistently failed and fell short of expectations. The Oilers do not have a good system; it's not consistent at all. They don't have good goaltending. They build a team around 2 players and expect it to work. It's not sustainable. It's gonna be Dallas in 4 and it won't even be close. The Oilers are not good.

  10. Quinn looks really depressed this season and especially in the playoffs. Like itā€™s seriously concerning.

After this loss I hope someone checks up on him. Hes a great guy.

  11. Hate to say it but the team is crippled with Petterssons contract. Get rid of him any way possible. Fire the gm if necessary. Petey is officially deadweight.

  12. The city should be proud as this team will grow and the team will be better you have some all guys ready to start next year give them credit a lot of guys hurt but they gave a great effort all year

  13. Not sure what everyone is excited about. That was hard to watch. You're playing the most shaky, worst goalie in playoff history and in a game 7 you put 2 shots on him in the whole first period??? Game 6 they only had 10 shots over the first 50 minutes. GET THE PUCK ON NET!!!
Too much dump and chase, cycling the lines and trying to play it off the boards. This team couldn't control and cycle the puck.
Work to be done, time to move on from Petey
