Dont trade Marner, Try trading Tavares and or Reilly.
Bring back both Domi and Bertuzzi. And try to fit in Stamkos as well as Debrusk
He might give Robertson a shot which is really good 👍 he was defensively better this year

Berube won a Cup with St louis because we were Heavy. Forechecking & More importantly BACKCHECKING. Be physical
I think marner for picks and one young player. Then sign domi, Bert, edmund, debrusk to matching deals 4 by 3. Then sign liligren, Robertson, dewar, jones all min guys and another min goalie. Add best ufa D or trade picks and prospects.
The core four are the farthest thing from Berube style as you can imagine. The core four are soft as kittens who are afraid of the tough areas on the ice. I just don't imagine the core four growing a pair when the playoffs begin. More likely they will get "sick" and hide under their blankets from the big mean hockey men.
Get rid of Shanahan, Hunter would have been a better choice.
It doesn't matter who coaches the leafs the team is jinxed since 1967 we had so many coaches and haven't won 💩 so now Berube is our saviour lol 😂😂😂
They always say what they want to do with the team the problem is getting there , it would be nice to see them get to that place. Maybe they will get there in the next couple years sure would be nice to get the last laugh for once

Hopefully this means that others will get a deserved shot on the speciality units when the big guns are choking. I never understood why Keefe would insist on using the same guys when they weren’t producing. I can fully see the other players not riding the bench when the Core 4 looked disinterested or were in slumps. I really hope they let Berube do his job and not have to worry about hurting the top lines feelings. Respect is a 2 way street and I don’t think the young kids got that or respected Keefe.
Trade Marner for Saros and Lauzon…re-sign Domi, Bert, McCabe…Sign Zadorov, E. Lindholm and DeBrusk..Make JT the 3rd line C and give Matthews the Captaincy…just my armchair GM opinion

this is the worst choice ever – the leafs head office needs to be completly changed by 2025-2026 (ownership gone) leafs will be "rebuilding" by 2026 (2027 , 60 years , good luck by 70 )
