Everyone talking about McDavid and rightfully so, he’s the best player in the league.. but Draisaitl is an incredible player, his defensive work goes so unnoticed, all playoffs he’s been an absolute wall defensively and that goes along with his incredible points in the playoffs already.. mans an absolute beast of a player..
Also shout out to Seguin, rolling back the years tonight, best he’s played in a long time
Dallas fan here. I watched Edmonton's last game in round 2 and thought gees were gonna have it tough. I wasn't wrong. Well played oilers, especially if the refs weren't fair to you (I live in the UK so can only watch the highlights here)
Skinner did what many of us were really hoping he would. Refs were trash again. Of course. The Oilers need to keep up with the pounding, the Dallas D are puny compared to what the Oilers faced the first 2 rounds, especially the last 1. Oilers gotta learn to not beat themselves, this shouldn't have gotten to OT.
This one went down to the toe man, honestly looked like Dallas had the advantage in the close end of the second and for the rest of the game at that. But I’m so glad the oilers were able to pull it off for an awesome game 1 tonight great job boys especially at the opposing arena
Still in shock i get it. Didnt watch oiler games thought vancouver was a easy team. They were fast and strong the oilers were deep too. The panthers look like a real problem. Hopefully one of these two west teams get through with all the players healthy.
McDavid really looked like he froze when he had the chance in OT1. He's gotta get back to his instinctual best if the Oilers are going to go all the way. Hyman on the other hand is clutch
The Oilers' problems began after a simple mistake by Kulak, when instead of passing over the boards, he began to pass through his defensive zone and the puck also came off the hook.
Just an amazing game one. The Oilers get goals from their top 3 forwards. The first OT sees the Stars hit two posts, and then McDavid oh so close, denied by Tanev and Oetinger… And then we have a quick finish to end in OT2 from guess who. Should be a fantastic response from Dallas in game 2. Ohhh baby!
I'm sure Mac David would not have slept well after blowing that earlier opportunity!!! He looked completely listless and fatigued!! Finally, he redeemed himself. WELL DONE CANADA'S OILERS 🇨🇦🇨🇦. I have NO MORE NAILS to bite🥵🥵
