I believe that the Chiefs can make things work this season, even without Rice! Then, they will get a healthy Rice back, halfway through the season, and for the playoffs!
They'll need more deep ball this year, but Pat and Andy better not live and die by it. The short and intermediate pass game was instrumental in two consecutive SB winning seasons.

The reason the deep threats were curtailed over the past two seasons wasn't because of anything the Chiefs did as much as how defenses played to force the offense to dink and doink.

Cut skyy Moore sadly he didn’t adapt well to the nfl… He was a beast in college! Man I was actually rooting for him when they drafted him. I hope he does well with a different team, or either proofs himself if they decide to keep him.
