Judging from his media interviews I think he’s staying in Vancouver. Tyler Myers had a 6 mil AAV 4.5-5 for Big Z would be good.

If big Z leaves, then i aint supportin the canucks anymore.
His wife has “hearted” every single comment asking them to stay in Vancouver on her most recent IG posts. It really seems like the family wants to stay in Vancouver
I just think Russians don’t care that much about a Stanley cup. They care (from decades of observation) about getting paid. Doesn’t mean they’re not great players,or don’t care about winning….but a Russian player is a Russian player,…don’t expect any deal for something as ridiculous as team loyalty or winning a cup. Just sayin… zadorov will either get his money or he’ll be wearing a different jersey next year.
I think big Z and Joshua need to stay, they're both two of the biggest impact players outside of the big all star names, and they both up the level of play and aggression for the team noticeably.
I think Joshua and Zodorov are higher priorities to keep over Lindholm or Hronek.
Do I think Lindholm and Hronek are good players? Absolutely! They are actually pretty fantastic. Just too expensive for what they provide over Joshua or Zodorov

We really need to figure out a way to keep Hronek, Zadorov, and Joshua. Hronek fell off at the end but played really well overall. I think he was like top 10 in the league with his +/- rating this year with like 23-24 minutes per game on ice. That is going to be incredibly hard to find a fit if we let him go. He is more important than people are giving him credit for.

Is this the time of year where I start ignoring the media speculation? Yes. Yes, I think it is.
Dude thinks he's a first pairing defenseman. He wants to be paid like a top guy. He's a good 3rd pair guy, but when he is given more responsibilities he tends to crumble. Whichever team he ends up with will overpay massively in both term and salary.
This is all conjecture by Friedman. If there was actual talk about Zadorov among GMs, that would be tampering.
