Finally, someone not pumping Skinners tires. He has 5 guys playing goal in front of him the whole game. I agree. Dallas could sweep them.
Dallas in 5. Kills me to say this but goaltending is going to kill my Oilers. 😢😢😢
Both the Stars and Oilers are 8-4 in the playoffs so far. Dallas is very good, solid top to bottom but no team at this stage is invincible. The Av's showed that you can score goals on this team and win games. Dallas scoring is more spread out over 4 lines but Oilers have scored about the same amount of total goals. So does it really matter where the goals come from? Dallas has a lot of good players but they don't have anyone like a Conor McDavid or Draisatl, they also now have a secret weapon game-breaker named Evan Bouchard. If Skinner can get hot at the right time (which is right now!) and Conor turns it up a notch, then this will be a very close and interesting series.
Stars win if they stay out of the box. With that said, Jamie Benn is on the team, so no guarantees. Go Stars!!

The remaining 14 skaters:
Stars: 6 goals
Oilers 3 goals.
Pathetic prediction.
I love to see the Oilers as underdogs while critics write their obit. Depth? 97 and 29 have more playoff points than than half the Dallas bench combined, but ok.
Stars also played first round without Hintz (their #1 center) – injuries are a part of playoffs.

Oilers have given the fewest quality chances in playoffs. Dallas penalty kill isn't that good and oilers power play is amazing. If oilers power can even out Dallas depth scoring Oilers can win the series
You can stop with the Dallas in 4 or 5 talk. The likelyhood of that is next to 0. I believe in the Stars and expect them to win the series, but Edmonton is too good, both players and coach, to get swept. I expect to see 7, maybe 6 games. You can also stop with Roope Hintz talk. We'll be lucky if he plays a couple games in this series. He's been out since game 5 of the last series.
Considering the Stars just took down two of the best teams in the league, I think it would be disappointing if they can't beat the Oilers but anything can happen in hockey.

I had some doubters last series. They disappeared. Stars in 4 this team can’t play with us. We’re too deep. Shut down like one; don’t take too many penalties; we’re about to dominate and show the doubters all year what this team is about. In your face 4 forward lines deep hockey.
