My two fave teams are going at it. Wow. What a game from both teams. Just insane back and forth action. 2 amazing goalies standing on their heads. This is the series we were expecting. I, for one, will be enjoying the show.
It’s still gonna be Panthers in 6, but the cardiac arrest these games induce is nerve wracking. Bob is matching and besting Shesty which is great. Cats haven’t mucked up the goal consistently yet, so start to do that and get weak side support from the FWD’s and a D man here and there, Shesty overplays everything and the net is wide open for rebounds. Should have been a 5-1 game, but the D were playing it safe and not pinching. I get it, but the goals were clearly there. Move on to Game 3. Our crib, our home, our wins coming up. Time to send these bums packing to Cancun.

Clearly evident Coach Paul Maurice mentally prepared the team well for the Rangers pushback. I love the analogy Paul gave “sometimes you need to block shots you can’t be swinging and punching all the time”. And Paul’s right, Rangers owned the first 10 mins, that’s all.
